1911-D $5 AU50 NGC. Only the famous 1909-O has a lower mintage than the 1911-D. Mint State examples are costly, and most collectors select a VF or XF representative. The present piece displays glimpses of luster and has dusky straw-gold toning. Small marks are here and there but never distracting.(Registry values: N1793)
