1911-D $5 AU58 PCGS....
Description
1911-D Five Dollar Indian, AU58
Old-Time Patina
1911-D $5 AU58 PCGS. The 1911-D half eagle is much scarcer
than its quarter eagle counterpart. Any Mint State coin is a
challenge to acquire, leaving many collectors to seek high-end AU
pieces. This near-Mint coin displays original patina with olive
overtones atop orange-gold fields to produce a "dirty gold" look.
The strike is bold, and only light wear appears over each
side.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DR, PCGS# 8521, Greysheet# 9324)
