Rare Uncirculated 1911-D Five

1911-D $5 MS61 PCGS. CAC. The 1911-D is the rarest Denver issue of the type, courtesy of a low mintage of 72,500 pieces. Most went into circulation, since the four most frequently seen grades at PCGS are AU50, AU55, AU58, and XF45. This is a satiny apricot-gold example with minimal marks aside from a subtle reverse rim nick at 3 o'clock.(Registry values: N2998)
