Description
1912 Indian Half Eagle, MS64
Early Generation PCGS Rattler
1912 $5 MS64 PCGS. According to the late David Akers, the
1912 is seldom available in MS64 or finer grades. The population
data suggests otherwise, and examples are relatively available at
this grade level. However, that changes in higher grades where 1912
emerges as a rarity. Registry collectors will be wise to seek MS64
examples as waiting for a better piece may prove frustrating. This
lovely reddish-gold example exhibits brilliant and frosty mint
luster with strong design definition. Certified in a Generation 1.2
"rattler" holder.(Registry values: N2998)From The rhp Collection.
