1912 $5 MS65 PCGS. Both sides of this crisply struck, reddish-tinged representative display intense, satiny luster and surfaces that are remarkable smooth for the issue. While accurately regarded as one of the more available Five Dollar Indian issues in Mint State grades, only a minuscule percentage of these coins could possibly be considered in the lofty Gem category, and just a single example (certified by NGC) has exceeded that level.
