Conditionally Rare 1912-S Half Eagle, MS62 PCGS
1912-S $5 MS62 PCGS. The S mintmark appears as a "blob," as is often the case. This issue is common in VF or XF, but rare in Mint State. The MS62 example offered here has a straw-gold patina over somewhat muted surfaces, and is adequately struck.
