Description

Rich Orange-Gold 1913 Half Eagle, MS64

1913 $5 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Rich orange-gold coloration and relatively smooth, pristine surfaces are among the hallmarks of this appealing near-Gem 1913 five. The well-executed strike furthers the appeal, even though most examples of the issue demonstrate that feature. Only tiny marks on the Indian's cheek possibly preclude the Gem grade, where PCGS has certified only 52 examples (6/10).(Registry values: N2998)
