1913 $5 MS64 PCGS....
Description
1913 Five Dollar Indian, MS64
Rich Color
1913 $5 MS64 PCGS. A substantial mintage of more than
915,000 coins ensures the availability of the 1913 half eagle in
MS64, but finer pieces are scarce and may be out of reach for many
collectors. This near-Gem displays rich straw-gold luster and is
well struck, though some softness appears on the lower headdress
feathers. Minor abrasions scattered over each side prevents a Gem
grade, but none are severe enough to reduce this coin to MS63 in
the eyes of PCGS.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DT, PCGS# 8525, Greysheet# 9313)
Weight: 8.36 grams
