Description

1914 Indian Half Eagle, MS65+
Notable High-Grade Rarity
CAC Endorsed, Few Are Finer

1914 $5 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The dual PCGS Plus and CAC endorsements place this high-end Gem Indian half eagle among the top half dozen examples seen by PCGS. The strike is usually sharp on the 1914 and this coin is no exception. The eye appeal is exceptional, with lustrous orange-gold surfaces imbued with faint lilac overtones. Although the 247,000-piece mintage ranks about midway among Indian five production, this issue is conditionally rare at the Gem Uncirculated level or finer. PCGS reports only three numerically finer examples. PCGS Population: 2 in 65+, 3 finer. CAC: 10 in 65, 2 finer (11/25).(Registry values: N4719)
