Description

Surprising MS64 1914-D Five Dollar

1914-D $5 MS64 PCGS. Like many of its fellows, the 1914-D half eagle is available for a price in grades through MS63 and even MS64 but is a condition rarity any finer. This near-Gem has much to recommend it, from the remarkably sharp design definition to the vibrant luster gracing the sun-gold surfaces. Small, scattered marks in the reverse fields partly account for the grade.(Registry values: N4719)
