Description

Sharp 1915 Near-Gem Half Eagle

1915 $5 MS64 NGC. The 1915 is one of the more attractive issues of the Indian Head five dollar series (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006), and this near-Gem specimen is no exception. Its highly lustrous surfaces yield peach-gold color tinged with light green, and the design elements are well defined. A few minor handling marks in the raised fields, especially those of the reverse, limit the grade.(Registry values: N2998)
