Description
1915 Five Dollar Indian, MS64 CAC
Sharply Detailed and Lustrous
1915 $5 MS64 PCGS. CAC. This Philadelphia Mint half eagle
issue claims a business-strike mintage of 588,000 coins and proves
widely available between MS61 and MS64. The population drops off
precipitously in finer grades, however. This sharply struck Choice
specimen exhibits medium orange-gold color and glimmering mint
frost. Minimally marked, as expected, the high quality within the
grade is confirmed by CAC. PCGS has graded 84 numerically finer
examples (10/25).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DX, PCGS# 8530, Greysheet# 9315)
