Description

Appealing Near-Gem 1915 Half Eagle

1915 $5 MS64 PCGS. An appealing survivor from this moderate-mintage issue, the last from the Philadelphia Mint until 1929. The khaki-gold and rose coloration is a pleasing combination. A pair of shallow pinscratches are noted directly behind the eagle's head. This date becomes rare and very expensive at the Gem level of preservation.(Registry values: N2998)
