Description
Near-Gem 1915 Indian Head Half Eagle
Sharply Struck
1915 $5 MS64 PCGS. While the 1915 Indian Head half eagle is
easy to locate in grades up to MS64, Gem examples are scarce, and
the issue is virtually unknown in higher grades. The present coin
exhibits sharp striking details with softly frosted luster and
unusual eye appeal. A scattering of insignificant handling marks
prevents a Gem designation.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DX, PCGS# 8530, GSID# 9315)
