Description
1915 Indian Five, MS65
Elusive Issue in High Grade
1915 $5 MS65 PCGS. While the 1915 Indian half eagle is
available in lower grades, it is quite elusive at the Gem level,
and unknown in any higher numeric grade. This delightful Gem is one
of the finest specimens of the date. The devices are sharply
impressed, showing fine detail on the eagle's feathers. The
surfaces radiate softly frosted, vibrant mint luster that adds to
the considerable eye appeal. Both sides display pleasing
orange-gold color with subtle hints of red. Only a few minute
contact marks can be detected, even with a glass. Population: 39 in
65, 0 finer (5/11).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DX, PCGS# 8530, Greysheet# 9315)
