    Description

    1915-S Half Eagle, MS63
    Well-Struck and Lightly Marked

1915-S $5 MS63 PCGS. CAC. The 1915-S half eagle is a nicely made issue, but it is also among the most elusive S-mints in a series known for the same. Mike Fuljenz's series reference ranks it fourth-rarest overall. This Select example with the CAC approval offers abundant eye appeal, and would fit nicely into almost any high-grade set. The surfaces show a range of color from yellow-gold to orange-gold, the prevailing theme, with lilac tinges in some of the device recesses. A couple of tiny ticks near the Indian's jawline are far from overt, but they and scattered other, equally minor marks determine the grade.(Registry values: N4719)
