1916-S $5 MS61 NGC. A boldly impressed and slightly brassy example of the penultimate half eagle issue intended for circulation. Though the piece has a clean appearance at arm's length, closer inspection reveals a number of wispy, grade-defining abrasions.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DY, PCGS# 8532, GSID# 9331)
