1916-S $5 MS64 NGC. An intricately struck and highly lustrous butter-gold near-Gem. Smooth aside from brief thin marks through the W in the motto and above the front wing. An arc on the left field of each side is moderately prooflike, as made. Last of the San Francisco issues. Housed in a former generation holder.(Registry values: N4719)
