Resplendent 1916-S Half Eagle, MS64
1916-S $5 MS64 NGC. Coruscating luster radiates from the yellow-gold surfaces of this appealing near-Gem. The strike is virtually full, and there are only a couple of nearly imperceptible abrasions. The 1916-S is elusive in Choice Mint State and seldom seen in Gem. NGC has certified just 11 examples finer (6/09).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DY, PCGS# 8532, GSID# 9331)
