    1908-D $5 MS63 NGC. The survival rate for any issue is an important consideration, and is determined by dividing the certified population by the mintage. For the 1908-D, the mintage was the fourth lowest, but the certified population is the third highest of any Indian half eagle. The centers of this Select Mint State piece are light yellow, with deeper yellow near the borders.
