Description
1908 $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS. Peach-gold surfaces give off pleasing luster, and the design elements are well defined, except for weakness on the eagle's shoulder. David Akers (1988) writes that this is not the result of a weak strike, but of a lack of die detail. The die work was improved on later issues.
