    1908 Indian Quarter Eagle, MS66
    Ideal First-Year Type Coin

1908 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. CAC. Bela Lyon-Pratt's innovative incuse Indian design made its debut on the quarter eagle denomination in 1908, with a substantial mintage of 564,800 pieces. The date is prized by series enthusiasts and first-year type collectors alike. This delightful Premium Gem exhibits sharply detailed design elements and well-preserved yellow and rose-gold surfaces, with satiny mint luster and few signs of contact. Visual appeal is outstanding and the 1908 is a prime condition rarity in higher grades. Housed in a green label holder. PCGS has graded two numerically finer examples (3/14).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 288Y, PCGS# 7939)
