Description

1908 MS 65. The first year of issue for the incused design quarter eagles and half eagles. The design and method of manufacture was used from 1908 to 1929 on these two coin series only. This specimen displays full, satiny mint luster, a bright golden-yellow color, and smooth surfaces which are virtually mark and abrasion free which, in itself is a rarity for these coins.
