Description

Charming MS64 1909 Quarter Eagle

1909 $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Glimpses of orange and rose grace the otherwise apricot-gold surfaces of this charming quarter eagle. Satiny luster is the rule, and the strike is pleasing aside from slight softness at the necklace. A flaw is noted to the right of the Y in LIBERTY, and small marks are scattered in the reverse fields.(Registry values: N2998)
