Delightfully Toned 1910 Quarter Eagle, MS64

1910 $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS. Something in the surface treatment of these mattelike Indian Head coins produces the lovely khaki-gold and hazel-gray coloration that is so infrequently found on other earlier series. So it is with this delightful near-Gem, which shows fine-grained golden-orange coloration and tinges of bluish-gray on the lower obverse. The surfaces are distraction-free, save for the usual stray tick or two on the Indian's cheek and obverse field.(Registry values: N1793)
