    Description

    1910 Indian Quarter Eagle, MS66
    Better Date in High Grade

1910 $2 1/2 MS66 NGC. Despite an adequate mintage of 492,000 pieces, the 1910 Indian quarter eagle is seldom encountered in high grade, and the issue is unknown above the MS66 grade level. Currently, NGC has certified 16 examples in MS66 condition, with none finer, while PCGS has graded 11 Premium Gems (one in 66+), with none finer (12/18).

Fortunately, the 1910 was well-produced, and the present coin exhibits the sharply detailed design elements typical of the issue. The impeccably preserved yellow-gold surfaces are lustrous and appealing. This coin should find a home in the finest collection or Registry Set.(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 2892, PCGS# 7941)

    Weight: 4.18 grams

    Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
