    Description

    Remarkable 1910 Quarter Eagle, MS66

1910 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. The 1910 Premium Gem quarter eagle offered in this lot is one of the few available in this lofty grade level. Both sides display beautiful orange-gold patination intermittently splashed with silver-green and lilac. Added to this is highly attractive luster and a decisive strike that imparts sharp delineation to the design elements. The surfaces are remarkably smooth for the issue, which often reveals distracting abrasions, mint-made spots, and planchet defects (David Akers, 2008). In sum, this example possesses strong eye appeal, an attribute that often eludes the 1910. Population: 7 in 66, 0 finer (2/10).
