Description
Pleasing 1911 Quarter Eagle, MS66
The Finest PCGS-Certified
1911 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. Quarter eagles of 1911 are readily
obtainable through MS63. Near-Gems become a little more difficult
to acquire, and Gems are scarce. Coins grading any higher are
infrequently seen.We present in this offering the finest PCGS-certified 1911 quarter eagle. NGC has graded only six specimens in this level of preservation, and none finer (2/10). Rich orange-gold patina imbued with traces of sky-blue and lavender adorns each side. The luster is full and highly pleasing. Aside from a handful of light handling marks the surfaces are smoother than ordinarily seen.
