Bold AU 1911-D Two and a Half

1911-D $2 1/2 AU50 PCGS. The cheekbone and the left border of the headdress exhibit slight friction, but luster glimmers from the design. Star 5 is abraded, but the mildly bright surfaces are generally smooth. The Denver mintmark is low relief but is unmistakable. An appealing example of this low mintage collector favorite.(Registry values: N2998)
