Description
Choice AU 1911-D Two and a Half
1911-D $2 1/2 AU55 NGC. The 1911-D is the rarest Indian Head quarter eagle, and the margin is not even close. The 1914 claims the second-lowest production at 240,000 items, which is more than four times the meager 55,600 1911-D coins minted. A few field marks are present, especially on the reverse, and the coin has a brown-gold hue. This Choice AU represents great value, with good eye appeal and only slight wear.
