Old Green Label Holder, Gold CAC
1911-D $2 1/2 AU55 PCGS. Gold CAC. Strong D. Even for the
Choice AU grade level, this 1911-D quarter eagle is high-end, and
thus the CAC gold label. The coin's residence in an old green label
holder furthers its appeal and the perception of its quality. Upon
close study with a loupe, the strike and mintmark are bold and the
surfaces show still-lustrous orange-gold patina. Trivial high-point
