Description
Satiny MS61 1911-D Quarter Eagle
1911-D $2 1/2 MS61 PCGS. This appealing piece has a mattelike appearance, along with satin luster and a mixture of khaki and champagne-red coloration. The design elements are boldly detailed. The only notable distraction is a pinscratch that extends from between ER in AMERICA to the edge of the eagle's wing. A strong candidate to fill that final hole in a Mint State collection of Indian quarter eagles.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# EGZ7, PCGS# 7943, GSID# 8615)
