    Select Uncirculated 1911-D Quarter Eagle

1911-D $2 1/2 MS63 NGC. A richly defined apricot-gold example of this most desirable Indian Quarter Eagle issue. The mintmark is clear, and a couple of tiny abrasions on the Indian's cheek are all that preclude an even finer grade. In addition to demand from the many date and mintmark collectors of this popular series, numerous speculators set aside multiples of selected key dates.(#7943) (Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 7KR7, PCGS# 7943)

    Weight: 4.18 grams
