1911-D $2 1/2 Weak D AU53 NGC. The outlines of the D mintmark are barely distinguishable and, of course, of tantamount importance to collectors as the key date of the series. Further confirmation is provided by the wire rim always seen on the right obverse. Both sides show considerable luster, with brownish-gold highlights.(Registry values: P3)
