    Description

    1911-D Indian Quarter Eagle, XF40
Strong Eye Appeal for the Grade

1911-D $2 1/2 XF40 PCGS. This piece must have been quite a find for the fortunate collector who plucked it from circulation many years ago. The coin is housed in a previous generation green label holder. Wear on the surface high points determines the XF40 grade, although marks are nearly absent and strong strike definition remains. Deep straw-gold color displays areas of bright-gold luster for considerable eye appeal, and the D mintmark is fully outlined for easy visibility.(Registry values: N1793)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2894, PCGS# 7943)

    Weight: 4.18 grams

    Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper

Had we endeavored to sell it without your support, it would have taken us at least 10 lifetimes, i.e. it would have been impossible.
