Semi-Key 1914 Quarter Eagle, MS63
1914 $2 1/2 MS63 ICG. Garrett and Guth (2006) state that "even in lower Mint State grades, this coin is a challenge, with fewer coins reported than almost any other issue besides the 1911-D." Delightful luster radiates beneath the pleasing pumpkin-orange patina that covers both sides. There are no mentionable marks, the details are sharp, and the eye appeal is excellent.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2898, PCGS# 7946, GSID# 8609)
