Description

Choice Semikey 1914 Quarter Eagle

1914 $2 1/2 MS64 NGC. The 1914 has the second lowest mintage of any issue within the widely collected Indian quarter eagle series, and is in fact the rarest issue at the MS65 level, at least according to the 4/09 NGC Census Report. The scarcity of the 1914 may be related to the high mintage of its 1913 predecessor, which may not have been fully paid out by 1914. A well detailed caramel-gold Choice representative with satiny, undisturbed surfaces.(Registry values: N4719)
