    Better Date in High Grade

    1914 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. The smooth, frosty fields of this high-end near-Gem lack even minor abrasions, although a few stray hairlines are present to keep this coin from attaining a full MS65 designation. Both sides are well-struck and luminous with rich wheat-gold coloration. The 1914 Indian quarter eagle is occasionally seen in this grade, but finer pieces are scarce.(Registry values: N4719)
