Description
Colorful, Lustrous MS64 1914 Two and a Half
1914 $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS. The production of quarter eagles in this first year of World War I was a generous 240,000 coins, and pieces are widely available up to the MS63 grade level. This piece offers softly glowing luster over the antique-gold surfaces, which reveal a single nick beneath the Indian's chin as one of the few mentionable distractions. PCGS has certified only 46 coins finer (8/07).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2898, PCGS# 7946, GSID# 8609)
