    1914 Quarter Eagle, MS65
    Scarce This Fine

1914 $2 1/2 MS65 NGC. While the 1911-D is far and away the most famous of the Indian quarter eagles, the 1914 is a significant semikey as well that is scarce in Gem and better condition. This MS65 representative is generally well-defined with only minor softness on the pendants of the necklace. Pale yellow interiors have broad rolling luster, while the margins are a touch more copper-orange. With its strong all-around visual appeal, this coin would fit well in the vast majority of high-end series collections and deserves a closer look. Census: 47 in 65 (1 in 65+), 3 finer (11/13).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 7KRA, PCGS# 7946)

    Weight: 4.18 grams

    Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper

The outcome of the auction far exceeded my best hopes and would not likely have been as successful with out your sound advice on where to present the coin and how best to set the reserve. Throughout the process your availability , support and knowledge were exceptional.
