Prime Condition Rarity in Higher Grades

1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 NGC. The 1914-D Indian quarter eagle can be located in MS64 condition without too much difficulty, but the issue is rare in any finer grade. The present coin is an attractive Choice example, with delightful orange-gold surfaces, highlighted by hints of rose color. This specimen is sharply struck, with only slight softness showing on the eagle's leg. Abrasions are minimal for the grade.(Registry values: N2998)
