Delightful MS64 1914-D Quarter Eagle

1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS. A delightful khaki-gold and hazel-gray piece, near to a Gem grade and displaying scant evidence of contact. The strike is somewhat soft on the lower headdress feathers, but this is otherwise an appealing example of this fairly available issue, and one that is seldom seen in a finer grade. PCGS has certified only 36 pieces finer (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)
