Sharply Struck 1914-D Near-Gem Quarter Eagle

1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 PCGS. Brassy-gold surfaces display hints of light tan, along with pleasing luster. The strike on this near-Gem is above average, as the eagle's shoulder and leg feathers are much better defined than typically seen on the issue. We note a few unobtrusive handling marks, as well as a couple of tiny green specks.(Registry values: N2998)
