Description

1915 Quarter Eagle, MS65
Rare Any Finer, CAC

1915 $2 1/2 MS65 NGC. CAC. The Mint struck 606,000 quarter eagles in 1915, and the issue is plentiful through MS64 while becoming challenging in Gem, and conditionally rare any finer. The sharply struck design elements of this exemplary Gem display exceptional detail on vibrant apricot-gold surfaces layered in luminous luster. Marks are trivial and grade-consistent. CAC-endorsed eye appeal is exceptional, and NGC reports only 14 numerically finer examples (3/26).(Registry values: N2998)
