Description
Remarkable 1925-D Quarter Eagle, MS66
1925-D $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. The Indian series of quarter eagles is conveniently divided into two periods. The first are those coins struck from 1908 through 1915, and the second starts in 1925 and continues through 1929. This 1925-D represents the beginning of the second period, and these late dates are usually slightly more common than the earlier pieces. This stunning Premium Gem has amazing yellow-gold color with lemon highlights. The surfaces are fully brilliant with frosty luster and the design details are boldly defined. Here is a remarkable example, tied for the finest that PCGS has certified. Population: 30 in 66, 0 finer (2/10).
