Wonderful Gem 1926 Quarter Eagle
1926 $2 1/2 MS65 NGC. An attractive Gem representative of this post-World War I Indian quarter eagle issue, popular with type collectors for its accessibility in MS65, though it comes at a price. Slightly frosty yellow-orange surfaces are devoid of overt abrasions, and the eye appeal is remarkable. NGC has certified only 13 numerically finer examples (8/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 289C, PCGS# 7950, GSID# 8611)
