Description

1926 Quarter Eagle, MS66
Frosty Top-Grade Type Coin

1926 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. The 1926 is among the plentiful late-series issues that are popular among type collectors, although even this date becomes conditionally rare in MS66. Finer pieces are unknown. The present coin displays boldly defined relief elements and exceptionally well-preserved fields -- only a couple of light marks are seen on the reverse amid IN GOD WE TRUST. The frosty wheat-gold surfaces just glow beneath a light. Population: 44 in 66, 0 finer (8/16).(Registry values: N4719)
