    Description

    Appealing 1927 Quarter Eagle, MS66

1927 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. The 1927 quarter eagle ranks 12th out of 15 issues for high grade rarity among the Indian quarter eagles, one of the commonest issues. However, PCGS has only certified 17 pieces in MS66, with none finer (2/10). Any opportunity to acquire this date, or any other date in MS66 or MS67 grades is seldom presented, and the collector should be prepared with a strong bid. This piece will be another nice addition to a Set Registry collection. This 1927 is boldly defined with frosty yellow luster and impressive eye appeal. A trace of pale blue and iridescent toning adds to its appeal.
