    1927 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. A popular date for type purposes, the 1927 Indian quarter eagle is usually available in high-grade condition. Moreover, it is one of the better-produced and more attractive dates from this series as most are sharply struck and quite lustrous.

    The peach-gold surfaces of this highly lustrous Premium Gem display hints of light green. Sharp definition is seen on the design features, including the Indian's hair and headdress feathers and the eagle's shoulder and leg plumage. A few minute, insignificant ticks are within the parameters of the grade designation. Population: 20 in 66, 0 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# BUTL, PCGS# 7951)
