    1928 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. Although a plentiful issue from a mintage of 416,000 pieces, the 1928 is an important condition rarity that is rarely encountered above MS64, and this Premium Gem is tied for the finest that PCGS or NGC have certified. The two services have seen fewer than 30 Premium Gem specimens. Both sides of this beauty have brilliant and frosty yellow-gold luster with a few trivial copper spots, and some coppery-orange toning at the upper left reverse. Only a few widely scattered, trivial marks are present. Population: 10 in 66, 0 finer (6/13).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 289E, PCGS# 7952)
